  3. 1 Onion
  4. 4-5 Carrots
  5. 1/2 tsp Basil
  6. 1/2 Chives
  7. to taste Black Pepper
  8. Blend Up Seasonings
  9. 1 Egg
  10. 2 tsp Butter
  11. to Taste Salt
  12. Hot Water for Cooking
  13. 4 Tbsp Ketchup
  14. 1 tsp Sugar
  15. 3 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar

Steps to make Jamdung

  1. Prep required seasonings for Callaloo.
  2. In a saute pan / Dutch pot add Butter to hot ♨ pan combine Onion, Carrots until acquired colour is accomplished.
  3. Add 1/4 Cup hot water, blend up seasonings, Apple Cider Vinegar, ketchup, Sugar. Stir. Taste. If required flavors needed to be added then do so.
  4. Add Callaloo, sprinkle 3 light dashes of Basil & Chives(don't want to overpower the Callaloo),sprinkle 1 dash of Black Pepper (for flavor).
  5. Crack egg, DO NOT whisk. Drizzle over Callaloo. Tip- Ensure egg is evenly distributed.
  6. Apply a final stir. Cover and allow to simmer. Until Callaloo has a green sheen appearance. Callaloo should be cooked for 9mins.
