- Mix yoghurt, water, egg white, salt, sugar, lemon juice, sunflower oil and baking soda.
- Add the flour, baking powder and knead well.
- Rest the dough for 5-15 minutes until you make the filling.
- Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces. You can fill and shape them however you like.
- Whisk the egg yolk and some water or neutral oil and brush it on them.
- Bake poğaças in a paper lined baking tray in the oven set 180°C or 350°F for approximately 20 minutes.
- When you take them out of the oven, spray some water on them and cover them with a kitchen towel.
- TIP: If your yoghurt gets watery in the container, you can use that yoghurt juice to replace the water in the recipe.
